Learn who should use Expand-A-Lung, important safety precautions, age recommendations, and what to do if you experience discomfort during training.

Because the device is used orally, keeping it clean is highly important. Wash it thoroughly after each use with warm water and a mild antibacterial dish soap. Rinse it completely through both ends and allow it to dry in a clean environment before storing. Do not use harsh bleach or place it in the dishwasher.

  • No. The Expand-A-Lung device is engineered as a single, permanently sealed unit and should never be taken apart. Attempting to disassemble the rigid plastic valve components or separate the silicone mouthpiece will break the industrial pressure seal, ruin the breathing resistance mechanics, and permanently damage the device. To clean it thoroughly, simply submerge and wash the entire device as a single unit in warm, soapy water.
  • The Expand-A-Lung is manufactured using high-quality, durable materials. The flexible mouthpiece is made from 100% wellness-grade, BPA-free, and latex-free silicone, ensuring it is completely non-toxic and comfortable for extended training sessions.

No. For strict personal hygiene and health safety reasons, the Expand-A-Lung is a single-user device. Sharing the mouthpiece with others risks cross-contamination and the spread of bacteria, saliva-borne fluids, or respiratory particles. Every individual should use their own dedicated device.
